I discovered one day during freshman year at Virginia Tech that I could borrow a camera, and it was a NICE camera. I decided that it would be fun to have a photoshoot with a friend around campus. We looked ridiculous. And the photos came out all wrong.
But it was so fun that I wanted to do it again. And again. I believed that I was pretty good at it (I was not) because I knew what I was doing (I didn't). But I became obsessed and have been actively learning ever since. Now it is my favorite thing to do. My goal is to be able to show everyone that they are fearfully and wonderfully made, through the photos that I take and the interactions and friendships that I make!
Being able to produce beautiful images that people fall in love with brings me so much joy, and the best way to do that is to get to know the people I work with. The couples and families that I meet are the best part, and keep me wanting to work more!
